My last polemic against simply sharing products all the time aside, there’s value in sharing the products that we create. Probably the most valuable reason for sharing our products is to get feedback on them. When putting that last post together, I think I got more of a response to the product of my chart itself than to the actual process detailed in the chart itself. This tells me that people like charts, which is certainly good to know as I fine-tune the product that is a blogpost. I’ll probably try to include more charts in future posts.

Another important reason to share our products is genuine pride in them. That’s the case with something I had a hand in yesterday, FlashLoan. Luckily for me, I don’t need to detail the entire process, because Diana Marcus lays down the dirty details. I did, however, put together my first Storify breaking down the tweets that document the session as it was happening. This was my first Storify, and it was interesting, although I’m fortunate that I only had to pull together a few people’s tweets mostly over a couple of hours.

Feedback, as always, appreciated. Should I try to make more of these, or am I out of my depth? Did I leave anything unclear?
